DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF THE UNIQUE VIOLENCE REGISTER (RUV)

General Description

The "Design and Installation of the Single Registry of Violence (RUV)" project focuses on the conception and deployment of a comprehensive computer system intended for the management and monitoring of violence in the Plurinational State of Bolivia. The main objective is to establish a centralized repository of data related to violence, with a particular emphasis on violence against women and domestic violence. Key Components of the Design The project encompasses the design of four main components: Single Registry of Violence (RUV): This is the core of the system, designed to consolidate information from various sources related to cases of violence. Registry of National Indicators on the Right of Women to a Life Free of Violence: This module focuses on the collection and monitoring of key indicators to evaluate progress and challenges in the eradication of gender violence at the national level. Registry of Complaints of Violence in Public and Private Institutions: Designed to centralize complaints of violence presented in different entities, facilitating unified monitoring and the generation of statistics. Issuance of Certification on Background in Violence against Women and Domestic Violence: This component will allow the generation of official certifications on backgrounds of violence, presumably for legal or administrative purposes. Technical Specifications of the System The system has been developed using a set of robust and widely adopted technologies, following a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture pattern to ensure security, scalability, and maintainability. Programming Languages and Frameworks: Java (JDK8): Main programming language. JavaServer Faces (JSF) 2.1: Framework for building web user interfaces. Spring Security 3.1: Security framework for user authentication and authorization. PrimeFaces 5.3: Library of user interface components for JSF. jQuery 2.3.4: JavaScript library for DOM manipulation and event handling. CSS 3: Cascading style sheet for visual design. Database: PostgreSQL 9.4: Relational database management system. PG-PLSQL: Used for the development of functions and views to optimize security and database performance, following the MVC pattern. Reports: JasperReports - iReport 5.6: Tools for generating customized reports. QR Code: Implemented for the validation and authentication of the Certificates SIPPASE issued by the system. Scope and Users The system has been designed to be implemented nationwide in 327 municipalities of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. It is estimated that the universe of active users amounts to approximately 700 users, including personnel from public and private institutions involved in the management and care of cases of violence.
