PROVISION OF FINE SAND
General Description
A project was executed aimed at improving infrastructure and local development through the provision of high-quality fine sand in the Sapecho locality of the Sud Yungas Province of the La Paz Department, Bolivia. This material was fundamental for various applications within the housing project developed by the National Alternative Development Fund (FONADAL), including construction, masonry, and optimization of local infrastructure. The project involved the collection and washing of sand extracted from the banks of the Alto Beni River, ensuring a continuous and high-quality supply for the works in the region. The fine sand, used in the preparation of concrete, allowed for the obtaining of mixtures with good compression resistance, thus improving the durability and stability of the constructed structures. Each phase of the process, from extraction to distribution, was carried out in strict compliance with the technical regulations in force in Bolivia, reflecting the commitment to quality, efficiency, and sustainability in the execution of the project.

Se ejecutó un proyecto orientado a la mejora de la infraestructura y el desarrollo local mediante la provisión de arena fina de alta calidad en la localidad de Sapecho de la Provincia Sud Yungas del Departamento de La Paz, Bolivia. Este material fue fundamental para diversas aplicaciones dentro del proyecto de vivienda desarrollado por el Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Alternativo (FONADAL), incluyendo construcción, albañilería y optimización de infraestructuras locales. El proyecto contempló el acopio y lavado de arena extraída de los bancos del río Alto Beni, asegurando un suministro continuo y de alta calidad para las obras en la región. La arena fina, utilizada en la elaboración de hormigones, permitió la obtención de mezclas con buena resistencia a la compresión, mejorando así la durabilidad y estabilidad de las estructuras construidas. Cada fase del proceso, desde la extracción hasta la distribución, se llevó a cabo en estricto cumplimiento de las normativas técnicas vigentes en Bolivia, reflejando el compromiso con la calidad, eficiencia y sostenibilidad en la ejecución del proyecto.
