FINAL DESIGN STUDY FOR THE LIVESTOCK PROJECT: TRAINING IN ANIMAL MANAGEMENT AND HEALTH FOR THE TURURUMBA COMMUNITY (AYANGO AND RACETE)
General Description
The livestock training project in animal management and health for the community of Tururumba, with specific intervention in the localities of Ayango and Racete, was designed with the objective of increasing livestock productivity and improving the sanitary conditions of the herd through strategic and locally adapted training processes. The execution was based on an initial participatory diagnosis that allowed identifying structural deficiencies in knowledge about health, nutrition, reproduction, and comprehensive livestock management. Based on these findings, an intervention proposal was structured, oriented towards practical training, which included technical workshops and face-to-face sessions led by veterinary and zootechnical professionals. The contents addressed key aspects such as the identification and prevention of prevalent diseases, implementation of vaccination and deworming schemes, balanced feeding techniques, reproductive management, and good animal welfare practices. The training sessions were dynamic and participatory, adapting to the customs, educational level, and accessible technical language for the producers. The project also promoted the formation of cooperation networks among livestock farmers, fostering horizontal learning through the exchange of experiences and the generation of collective commitments. The creation of organized working groups was encouraged, where producers supported each other to apply in the field what they had learned, thus strengthening the social fabric and the sustainability of the project's results in the medium and long term. As an expected result, the project installed technical capacities in the communities of Ayango and Racete, consolidating a solid basis for responsible livestock management. It is expected that this intervention will significantly contribute to the reduction of diseases, increase in livestock production, and improvements in income and quality of life for the involved families, positioning local livestock as a strategic productive axis for community development in Tururumba.

ESTUDIO A DISEÑO FINAL DEL PROYECTO PECUARIO: CAPACITACION EN MANEJO Y SANIDAD ANIMAL PARA LA COMUNIDAD TURURUMBA (AYANGO Y RACETE)

El proyecto pecuario de capacitación en manejo y sanidad animal para la comunidad de Tururumba, con intervención específica en las localidades de Ayango y Racete, fue diseñado con el objetivo de elevar la productividad ganadera y mejorar las condiciones sanitarias del hato mediante procesos formativos estratégicos y adaptados a la realidad local. La ejecución se sustentó en un diagnóstico participativo inicial que permitió identificar deficiencias estructurales en conocimientos sobre salud, nutrición, reproducción y manejo integral del ganado. Con base en estos hallazgos, se estructuró una propuesta de intervención orientada a la formación práctica, que incluyó talleres técnicos y sesiones presenciales lideradas por profesionales veterinarios y zootecnistas. Los contenidos abordaron aspectos clave como la identificación y prevención de enfermedades prevalentes, implementación de esquemas de vacunación y desparacitación, técnicas de alimentación balanceada, manejo reproductivo y buenas prácticas en bienestar animal. Las capacitaciones fueron dinámicas y participativas, adaptándose a las costumbres, nivel educativo y lenguaje técnico accesible para los productores. El proyecto también promovió la formación de redes de cooperación entre los ganaderos, fomentando el aprendizaje horizontal a través del intercambio de experiencias y la generación de compromisos colectivos. Se impulsó la creación de grupos de trabajo organizados, donde los productores se apoyaron mutuamente para aplicar en campo lo aprendido, fortaleciendo así el tejido social y la sostenibilidad de los resultados del proyecto en el mediano y largo plazo. Como resultado esperado, el proyecto dejó instaladas capacidades técnicas en las comunidades de Ayango y Racete, consolidando una base sólida para el manejo responsable del ganado. Se prevé que esta intervención contribuya significativamente a la reducción de enfermedades, incremento en la producción pecuaria, y mejoras en los ingresos y calidad de vida de las familias involucradas, posicionando a la ganadería local como un eje productivo estratégico para el desarrollo comunitario en Tururumba.
